About This Spot

Perched on the 16th floor of H Zentre in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, Zhuoyuan Restaurant offers more than just a meal—it provides a quietly refined gateway into a contemporary Chinese dining experience. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere settles into a gentle rhythm, inviting you to slow down and savor the varying textures of light, space, and cityscape beyond the windows. With ample space and thoughtfully arranged seating, it’s a place that feels both expansive and intimate, allowing for meaningful conversation without the usual clamor of the busy streets below.

The mood here leans toward an elegant calm, punctuated by glimpses of Hong Kong’s vibrant skyline and the shifting colors of sunset from the balcony. This setting naturally encourages a leisurely pace, whether you arrive for an evening gathering or a quiet meal to mark a special occasion. It’s a restaurant that rewards thoughtful planning; guests often discover that a little advance preparation ensures the full unfoldment of Zhuoyuan’s offerings, transforming the meal into a seamless journey of taste and texture.

Rather than presenting a mundane list of dishes, the menu at Zhuoyuan dances with delicate craftsmanship and unexpected details—a barbecued pork bun that carries the charm of tradition with a delicate lift, or dim sum bites that surprise with their refined shapes and artistry. Richly flavored creations, like the sumptuous crab spring rolls and the nuanced black pepper wagyu, unfold in layers of umami that complement the serene setting. Each plate arrives with an effortless balance of visual appeal and satisfying flavour, elevating the meal beyond routine dining.

This is a place where the tactile pleasures of food intersect with the warmth of attentive service and a sense of shared occasion. The staff’s thoughtful attentiveness weaves quietly through the experience, creating a backdrop where food and view mingle without distraction. Zhuoyuan, with its spacious interiors and sweeping vistas, invites you to settle in, appreciate the simple joy of a well-made meal, and watch the city’s lights awaken as night falls over the harbor.

It’s an interesting journey for a dinner here. I suggest potential customers/patrons to preorder all dishes and requests (all, remember to pre-order all dishes) in advance or you probably encounter a similar journey as how we experienced. Waitress came in several times (more than 4) for changing ingredients due to running out of supplies. It’s an Amazing Journey indeed! All dishes were well made and pricey. Comfortable seatings and private rooms. The soup base is the soul of several dishes, I reckon the same soup base for three dishes. Service is generally okay. Friends gathering in room is suggested.

The Google Map images looked great but it only had 3.8 stars. We went there anyway and discovered very nice decor and atmosphere. We ordered the best looking items and more. The food arrived quickly. They not only looked as amazing as the pictures, they were very tasty too. I kept saying to myself that this place is definitely 5 stars. This is a great discovery for us. We wondered how anyone could have given this restaurant any less than 5 stars.

Located in TST right across from K11 Musea, it's a really nice place to get some dim sum. It is quite pricey but the food is actually pretty good. The service is great as well. So it's a good place to go once in a while with family to treat them if they want something more than the local yum cha places.
